Combination brows

 Combo brows are a combination of two forms of semi-permanent techniques: microblading and powder brows (shading). Microblading hair-strokes are placed with a manual tool around the border of the brow to give the brow a natural look. The powder effect is applied to the body of the brow using a permanent makeup device to give the brow its fullness.     

DO COMBINATION BROWS HURT?

Pain threshold levels vary from person to person. I will use a safe topical anesthetic cream to ensure you remain as comfortable & as pain-free as possible.

ON AVERAGE, HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

Combo brows can last anywhere from two to five years. The retention will depend on a number of factors, such as lifestyle, skin type, sun exposure, health condition, etc. There are also internal factors such as the gradual break down of pigments as your body metabolizes the pigment out of your system. Everyone can experience the fading process differently.

 WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE?

 Combo Brows are great for clients with normal to moderately oily skin. So if your skin is too oily for microblading alone, combo brows might be a viable alternative. For someone with very sparse brows, the shading can give the brow more body, while the hair-strokes keep it looking natural.

WHO IS NOT A GOOD CANDIDATE?

You should avoid this procedure or consult a doctor before booking a treatment if you have any of these pre-existing health conditions:

• Cancer
• Diabetes
• Epilepsy or autoimmune disorders
• Bleeding disorders
• Viral infections
• Skin irritations
• Vitiligo
• You are taking blood thinning medications
• You have a major heart problem
• You are pregnant
• You’ve had an organ transplant
• You have uncontrolled high blood pressure

 WHAT IS THE COMBINATION BROW AFTERCARE LIKE?

• Don't get your brows wet for 10-14 days!! 
• Don’t work out or sweat a lot.
• Don’t touch and peel off the scabs. The scabs will shed naturally.
• Avoid any makeup around the brows for at least 12-14 days.
• Stay out of heavy sun exposure.
• Avoid any facial treatments during the healing process.
• Avoid long and hot showers.
• Avoid washing your brows extensively. You can use a cotton pad for wiping the area.
